General Q&A
What kind of films is recommended?
Any 35 mm film is good to go. For sunny days, you could use films with ISO200. For cloudy days or indoor situation, use films with ISO400. Remember to use flash too!
How to load film into the camera? / Why the film won't stop advancing?
Make sure the film sprocket in the camera is actually holding the film properly. Scroll down this page and check out the tutorial about how to load film into the RETO3D and RETO Ultra Wide & Slim cameras.
Why the film cannot be rewinded?
Make sure you press the Film Rewind Button at the bottom of the camera before rewinding the film.
Why are my photos so dark?
The photos are underexposed and dark if you did not turn the flash on when shooting in a dim environment, or if you shot the object from too far. Please ensure you turn the flash on indoor and place your object at arm's length when shooting with RETO3D or RETO Ultra Wide & Slim.
Why are the photos out-focused?
RETO3D/RETO Ultra Wide & Slim is a focus-free camera. The closest focus length is 1 meter which means the object has to be put at least 1-meter from the camera.
